A character portrait I did for Sordane Publishing for Rob Knipe's novel Lost and Found which is a fantasy adventure novel about a rediscovered ancient city that sparks a dangerous race for treasure, power, and survival

Valdeer was born and raised in Lozandar and has spent the past few years busking to try and make ends meet. Generally jolly and cheerful, he loves to joke, and sing songs with a hint of innuendo, poking fun at those he considers friends, or the patrons of the taverns he performs in. Ever hopeful that one day he’ll overcome the obstacles in his way and become a success, he always puts a brave face on to meet the world head on with a smile, and a witty retort. With nothing to his name but a colorful bard’s outfit and an old lute, he has everything to gain, and only his life to lose.
